The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education is responsible for conducting Board examination in Tamil Nadu State. The Examining Body conducts the Board exams for Standard 10th(SSC) as well as Standard 12th (HSC). Tamil Nadu Board Of Secondary Education conducts examination on a regular basis every year.The Government of Tamil Nadu have constituted a new Board for School Examination viz “Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination” by merging the existing two separate boards namely;

  1. Board of secondary education and
  2. Board of higher secondary education examination

Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education was formed in the year of 1910. This includes various streams of education which are offered by Tamil Nadu Board of secondary education:

  1. OSLC (Oriental School Leaving Certificate)
  2. HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate)
  3. SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate)

It is to announce that the TN SSLC April 2015 Results have been declared on 21st May 2015 (Thursday). It is truly a moment of pride to announce that K.Harshini, student of CMS got the State first rank with a total of 499. The list does not stop here & 5 students bagged 500 on 500 with French & Sanskrit as the first language. Given below are the top highlights of TN SSLC April 2015 Results.

  • Students securing State ranks with Tamil as the First Language : 773
  • No. of students scoring 499 marks : 190
  • No. of students scoring 498 marks : 542

A student from the visually impaired category, M. Andal scored 477 from Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School for Blind. Mithun V. Krishna from Kasthurba Gandhi Oral School secured the highest rank for hearing impaired & Varadharajpuram, Coimbatore scored the highest rank among hearing impaired students with a whooping 385 out of 500.

The pass percentage has relatively increased this year 90.7 % to 92.9%. To get the results candidates can click on the official website http://tnresults.nic.in/. Students need to click on SSLC April 2015 Results & add their Registration Number as well as Date of Birth to get their marks.
