SBI PO Exam 2014: Interview dates rescheduled for Mumbai & Chandigarh

State Bank of India considered as the Supreme Bank of India. Initially known as theImperial Bank of India, State Bank of India (SBI) came into existence with its very own name on 1st July 1955. State Bank of India is a Multinational Bank. It is a government owned Corporation with its Headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra.In 1959, the government passed the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, which made eight state banks associates of SBI. SBI is spread over 34 countries with 180 overseas offices. SBI efficiently operates several foreign subsidiaries or affiliates.

State Bank Of India conducts recruitment drive from time to time to fulfill the vacancies for various posts all together. SBI had conducted written test for the post of PO in the month of June-July’14 Test Phase-I. The written exam result was announced in the first week of September 2014. It was then declared that the Group Discussion & Interview shall commence from 8/10/2014. Interview schedules for each centre has been planned & accordingly informed to the selected candidates.

The Interview dates vary for each centre. In respect to that, the interview schedule for Mumbai as well as Chandigarh centre was supposed to be held on 15th October 2014. 

On account of the Assembly Elections in the States of Maharashtra and Haryana coming up from 15th October 2014, SBI PO Exam 2014: Interview dates rescheduled for Mumbai & Chandigarh. 

The dates have now been rescheduled to 19th October 2014. In that reference, short listed candidates for Mumbai & Chandigarh centres are requested to attend the interview on 19th October 2014 instead of 15th October 2014. Candidates are requested to report at the same venue along with the call letters already downloaded.
