Odisha Board of Secondary Education conducts Board examination in Odisha State. The Examining Body conducts the Board exams for Standard 10th (SSC) as well as Standard 12th (HSC). Odisha Board Of Secondary Education conducts examination on a regular basis every year.
Examinations for HSC and SSC are mostly conducted in the month of March and the results are declared in May. Last year Odisha School education Board announced its HSC results on 31st May 2014. In 2014, about 6 lakhs students appeared for the HSC examination with a passing ration of 76.03%. The pass percentage is 78.95 per cent (4,28,347 candidates) among regular students while it is 50.09 per cent (23,827 candidates) among ex-regular students. Boys surpassed girls with a pass percentage of 2,28,103 whereas that of girls was 2,6,991.

Odisha Board of Secondary Education HSC examination will be starting from March 2015. The Odisha State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education HSC examination results are tentatively going to be declared in the month of May 2015.
