West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS) is one of the leading universities for studying Law. It is one of the finest national law schools of the country and has continuously been ranked as one of the top law schools. NUJS was founded under the West Bengal Act IX of 1999 with an objective to promote legal knowledge and to make law as well as legal process efficient instrument of social development.
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level Law Entrance Examination carried out by the Human Resource Development Ministry and facilitated by the UGC as an outcome to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) pending before the Supreme Court of India.
National University of Juridical Science (NUJS) Entrance Exam is carried out to provide admission to students to its BA/B.Sc LLB program on the basis of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). It provides admission to 5 year BA LLB and B.Sc LLB program to its applicants along with other law programs.
NUJS Exam Eligibility
For BA/B.Sc LLB program: The applicants must have passed HSC/ intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with minimum of 50% of marks form a recognized board.
For LL.M program: The applicants must have passed LL.B degree or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university/ college.
Note: The applicants appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply for the test
How to apply
The applicants will be admitted on the basis of Common Law Admission Test. Applicants have to apply for the admission through CLAT examination. Applicants can apply online at CLAT website.
