NET 2015 Subjects

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for conducting the National Eligibility Test on behalf of the University grants Commission (UGC). This year the examination is scheduled to be held on 28th June, 2015(Sunday). The main purpose of conducting the entrance exam is to know certainly if the candidates are eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Indian Universities or Colleges.

CBSE is all set to conduct NET 2015 for as many as 84 subjects in the 89 selected NET Examintion Centers/ Cities. All those candidates who are successful in qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are very much eligible to pursue research in the subject of their Post Graduation or in a particular related subject & are eligible for the post of Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates have the scope of getting selected for whole time research work by numerous Universities, Institutions, IIT’s & various other National Organizations. Candidates must note that in NET 2015, the eligibility for Assistant Professor shall surely depend on the performance of the candidates in all the examinations of NET.
