NCHMCT JEE 2016 Important Dates

Given below is the schedule for NCHMCT JEE 2016 entrance exam. Interested students please take note of the same.

  • Application Form Available Online: 14th December 2015 to 11th April 2016
  • Sale of Application Forms Off-Line: 21st December 2015 to 11th April 2016
  • Last Date for Receipt of Filled-in Form: 11th April 2016
  • Availability of Admit Cards on NCHMCT Website: 20th April 2016 (1400 Hrs. onwards)
  • Date of Written Exam (JEE 2016): 30th April 2016 (Saturday, 1000 Hrs to 1300 Hrs (3 Hrs.)
  • Date of Result of JEE on Website: 03rd week of May 2016
  • Conduct of Counselling: Last week of May 2016
  • Commencement of Academic Session: 18th July 2016

 NCHMCT JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria

After checking out the NCHMCT JEE 2016 Important Dates let us go through the  NCHMCT JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria in detail.

  1. Candidates must have cleared 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Exam or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects.
  2. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying exam. Those candidates who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam can also appear in JEE 2016 on provisional basis.
  3. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying exam (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30th September 2016.
  4. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will stand cancelled.
  5. For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01st July 2016. Candidates born on or after 01st July 1994 are eligible; in the case of SC & ST candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01st July 2016. Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.

Apart from the above mentioned eligibility criteria for NCHMCT JEE 2016 few more rules are mentioned which are as follows :-

  • Any Public School/Board/University Exam in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education is required.
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state.
  • Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available upto 30th Sept. 2016.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Exam (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Exam conducted by a recognized Board/University
