NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria

The “National Aptitude Test in Architecture” which is also very popularly known as the ‘NATA’ Entrance Examinations, are conducted by the “National Institute of Advance Studies in Architecture”. This is a mandatory entrance examination which is conducted for the sole purpose of admitting all the Candidates and the Students to the Undergraduate Courses and Programs in Architecture.

All those Candidates and Students who have successfully passed out and cleared this entrance examination are admitted to Architecture programs and courses. The admittance to the architecture courses would be purely on the basis of their marks and the score which have been obtained by the Candidate in the NATA 2016 and the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50.

NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria

The following given below is the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria. This article on NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria states all the terms / conditions & stipulations which are required to qualify for the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only those candidates who abide by the terms & conditions which are mentioned below can qualify for the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria.
  • All the candidates who have passed out their 10th Std SSC Board examinations or any other equivalent examination are eligible to qualify for the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria.
  • The above mentioned Board Examination should be recognized by an Educational Board / University in India.
  • Candidates should pass the above mentioned Board Examination with Mathematics as one of the Subjects & Securing at least 50% marks in Aggregate.
  • Also all candidates who have passed out their 10+2 HSC Board examination or any other equivalent examination are eligible to qualify for the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria
  • The above mentioned Board Examination should be recognized by an Educational Board / University in India, so as to qualify for the NATA 2015 Eligibility Criteria.
  • All candidates should pass the above mentioned Board Examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as one of the Subjects & Securing at least 50% marks in Aggregate.
  • Also candidates who have completed their 10+3 Diploma pattern of education also qualify for the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria.
  • Also international candidates who have obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma, which is after 10 yrs of Schooling, with Mathematics as a subject and scoring at least 50% aggregate marks are liable for the NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria.
  • Note: All the candidates & aspirants intending to apply for the NATA 2016 examinations are required to strictly abide by the above mentioned NATA 2016 Eligibility Criteria.

  • NATA 2016 Registration Process begins from: 21st January 2016
  • NATA 2016 Examination Starts Date: 01st April 2016
  • Test centers are being activated till 30th April 2016
  • Last Date of Exam: 20th August 2016
  • Last Date for Registration: 18th August 2016
