KCET Medical 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

The “Karnataka Common Entrance Test” (KCET) is an entrance examination which is conducted by the “Karnataka Examination Authority” (KEA). The Karnataka examination authority is a body / institute which is set up by the State Government of Karnataka, for conducting these entrance examinations.

The “Karnataka University” conducts the KCET examinations; it conducts these examinations on behalf of the “Karnataka Examination Authority”. The KCET Examinations are conducted every year in the month of April or May. The upcoming KCET 2015 examinations have already been scheduled to be conducted on the 29th & 30th April 2015.

The KCET Medical 2015 examinations are primarily conducted so as to admit all candidates & students to the undergraduate Medical & Dental courses and programs, within the State of Karnataka. The following is the list of Medical Courses & Programs:

  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic, Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) courses & programs
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.VSc) courses & programs

KCET Medical 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

  • All Candidates who are at least 17 years of age or above as on the 31st December 2015 can appear for the KCET 2015 Medical entrance exams.
  • All Candidates should have passed out their 10+2 HSC Board Examinations or any other equivalent examination.
  • The above mentioned 10+2 HSC Board Examination should be recognized and approved from an Education Board in India
  • The above mentioned 10+2 HSC Board Examination should be passed out with subjects namely that of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  • All Candidates who belong to the General Category should secure at least 50% aggregate marks in the above mentioned examination
  • For Candidates who belong to the SC / ST / OBC Category should secure at least 40% marks in the 10+2 HSC Board Examinations.
