Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2015 Examinations:
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, also known as the Karnataka CET is an Common Entrance Test, which is conducted and convened by the State of Karnataka for the sole purpose of admitting Students and Candidates to the First year of the Full Time/Regular Engineering Course and Programs in the State of Karnataka.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is also conducted for offering and providing admissions for Full Time/Regular courses in Technology, Medicines and Homoeopathy together with courses and programs in Agriculture.
Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka CET 2015 Examinations:
-All the Candidates should have cleared/ passed out their 10+2 HSC Board Examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Mandatory and Compulsory Subjects.
-They also must have Biology, Bio-Technology, chemistry, Computer Science and Chemistry as optional subjects, together with English as one of the Languages
-All candidates/ students should have attained at least an aggregate of 45% marks in all the optional subjects that are mentioned above.
-They should also fulfil the Domicile Criteria that has been stipulated by the Karnataka Education Authority, also known as the KEA.
The Syllabus for the Karnataka CET 2015:
The Question Paper for the Karnataka CET will completely and Comprehensively consists of the 1st and the 2nd PUC Syllabi, which has been specifically prescribed by the Department of Pre University Education of the State of Karnataka.
Paper Pattern for the Karnataka CET 2015:
-The entire Question Paper for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2015, will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. However, the Candidate/Students should note that there will be no Choice or Options given among the Questions in the Paper.
-Thus the Student will have to Answer all the Questions in the Paper and the Question Paper in Each subject will comprise of 16 different versions.
-Each question in the examination will consist of 1 Mark and there will be “No Negative Marking” for any Wrong Answer.
No of Subjects in the Karnataka CET 2015:
There are four Subjects in the Karnataka CET, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Each of the subjects will consists of 60 Marks.
Note: all Students are required to Mark the Right Alternative against the Questions in the Paper with the Blue or Black Ball Point Pen Only.
Karnataka CET 2015 Application Forms:
-All candidates are require to download the Bank Payment Challan and make the payment for the Application fees or 650/- to any of these Bank Branches – State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank and Central Bank of India.
-All Candidates and Applicants can pay the Fees through the DD in Favour of the “Executive Director, Karnataka Examination Authority”, Payable at Bangalore.
-After the payment of the Bank Challan the Candidates and Applicants can avail the Application form from their respective schools, educational institutes , after submitting their copy.
-All the contents of the Karnataka CET 2015 Examination Application form should be duly filled and Complete in All Respects, to their Schools Principles’ or Authorities.
Hall Tickets/Admit Cards for Karnataka CET 2015 Examinations:
After submitting the Application forms, candidates can collect their Karnataka CET 2015 Exams Admit Cards/Hall Ticket, from the Same Respective Colleges/Schools.
Date of the KCET 2015 Examination:
The Upcoming KCET 2015 Examinations will be held in month of May 2015
Results of the KCET 2015 Examinations:
The Results for the KCET 2015 Examinations will be Declared by the End of May 2015
