The “Karnataka Common Entrance test” (KCET) is an entrance examination, being conducted for admitting candidates and students to both the private and public Universities & Colleges in the State of Karnataka.
The KCET entrance examination is conducted by the “Karnataka University” on behalf of the “Karnataka Examination Authority”. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for admitting candidates and students to the list of under graduate Courses & Programs, which are mentioned below:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- B.E / B.Tech
- B.Sc (forestry & agriculture)
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.VSc)
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
All the Candidates & Students who are interest in pursuing the above courses and programs in the state of Karnataka are required to appear and qualify for this entrance examination. After passing and qualifying this entrance exam, all the Candidates are eligible to be admitted to the public and private Universities, Colleges & Institutes in the State of Karnataka.
It has lately been announced that, the Karnataka CET 2015 registration dates extended providing an extra edge to students through which they can apply even if they haven’t. The registration dates for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2015) have been extended till March 5, 2015.
As mentioned earlier, the registration dates were supposed to get closed on 2nd March, 2015 which has now been extended to 5th March, 2015. The KCET 2015 aspirants who initially missed out the registration process can now register themselves. The KCET 2015 entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on 29th & 30th April, 2015. The examination shall be conducted in two sessions i.e from 10:30 a.m to 11:50 a.m & 2:30 p.m to 3:50 p.m. Candidates can download the Admit Cards for KCET 2015 on or after 15th April, 2015.
