Jharkhand is the 28th state of India. Formerly a part of Bihar, the state was formed on 15th of November, 2000 with Ranchi as its capital. A hub of industrial activities, the state of Jharkhand is also an educational destination. Students can begin school when they turn five years old, with free and compulsory primary education available for all children up to age 14. Every school is affiliated to the state board of secondary education, the CBSE, or with the ICSE. State schools use Hindi as their medium of instruction. Schools affiliated to CBSE or ICSE, instead use English.
Total of 5 lakh students appeared for SSC Board examinations in year 2014. The Board Examinations for Class 10th was held from 21st of February 2014 and ended at 7th of March 2014. The results were out on 29th of May 2014 with 82 percent students passing the examination. Boys performing far better than the girls across the state.
The Jharkhand State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education SSC examination which will be starting from 16th of February 2015 and will end by 02nd of March 2015. The Jharkhand State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education SSC examination results are tentatively going to be declared in the month of May 2015.The results will be available on the official website of Jharkhand State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education – http://jac.nic.in/.
