JEST 2015 Paper Pattern:

The following given below is the JEST 2015 Paper Pattern:

The Entire Question Paper for the Joint Entrance Screening Test will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions, i.e. MCQs

The Joint Entrance Screening Test Entrance Examination comprises of 2 Sections:

Section a:

  • In this section of the Question Paper, the Candidates are required to answer at least 25 questions
  • Every question will be of the nature of the Multiple Choice Questions, i.e. MCQs
  • Every question in this section shall comprise of 1 Mark
  • Thus this Section of the Question paper shall comprise of the total of 25 Marks
  • All the Candidates are required to note that there is no Negative Marking for the Wrong Answers in the Examination

Section B:

  • In this section of the Question Paper, the Candidates are required to answer at least 25 questions
  • Every question will be of the nature of the Multiple Choice Questions, i.e. MCQs
  • Every question in this section shall comprise of 3 Marks
  • Thus this Section of the Question paper shall comprise of the total of 75 Marks
  • All the Candidates are required to note that there is no Negative Marking for the Wrong Answers in the Examination.

JEST 2015 Syllabus:

(a)Physics:

The Syllabus for the Physics section shall comprise of the following topics/chapters which are mentioned below:

  • Classical Mechanics
  • Electromagnetic Theory and Optics
  • Quantum Mechanics
  • Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics
  • Mathematical Methods
  • Electronics and Experimental methods

(b)Computer Science Syllabus:

The Syllabus for the Computer Science section shall comprise of the following topics/chapters which are mentioned below:

  • Analytical Reasoning
  • Deduction
  • Discrete Mathematics
  • Simple principles of Programming
  • Combinational, Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Graph Theory

(c)Mathematics:

  • The Entire portion of the Mathematics Syllabus will be asked from the chapters and the topics of the level of the B.Sc (Mathematics) and the M.Sc (Mathematics).
