JELET Entrance Examination:
The “Joint Examination for Lateral Entry” also known as the JELET Examinations are combined entrance examinations which are conducted for the purpose of admitting potential candidates to Engineering, Technology & Pharmaceutical programs.
All candidates who are interested in pursuing the above programs within the state of West Bengal are required to clear the JELET entrance examinations. All successful candidates can avail entry to the 2nd Year Undergraduate Programs in 16 State Government & 6 Private Engineering Colleges within the State of West Bengal
JELET 2015 Seat Allotment:
The JELET 2015 Seat Allotment comprise of the 3 following stages / phases which are mentioned below, all candidates are required to clear all these stages for qualifying for the JELET 2015 Seat Allotment procedure.
(i)JELET Examinations & Results:
The JELET entrance examinations are conducted every academic year, across India in the month of April / May. The Upcoming JELET 2015 entrance examinations are scheduled to be conducted on the 5th & 6th May 2015.
The Results will be announced by the 1st Week of July 2015, candidates are required to note that the Results for the JELET entrance examinations will be publicly declared only through the Online Mode.
For the above mentioned purposes candidates will be required to visit the Official website and enter additional details namely: Candidates Roll No, Application No (the exact details will be provided only after the Public Announcement is made)
The Counselling Procedure will be conducted also by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WB JEE Board). The WB JEE Board will be conducting the Counselling Procedure for the purpose the Inspection & Verification of the Candidates Certificates & Documents as well as to provide directions & instructions for the JELET 2015 Seat Allotment.
All the candidates who have passed out and cleared the Joint Entrance examination will be compulsorily required to attend the Counselling Procedure. The exact dates for the Counselling Procedure have yet not been declared but the Counselling Procedure may commence by the 2nd Week of July 2015
(iii)Cut Off List/ Merit list:
The Cut off list will also be declared by the West Bengal Board, this cut off list will be declared after the completion of the Counselling Procedure. All those candidates who have cleared the Counselling will be eligible to be inducted in the JELET 2015 Seat Allotment.
