JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation:

The JEE Advanced engineering entrance examinations are conducted every year for the purpose of admitting potential candidates & students to all the 16 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) as well as the Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad.

The JEE Advanced examinations are conducted in the month of May, and even the upcoming JEE Advanced 2015 examinations have been scheduled to be conducted on the 24th May 2015. The JEE Advanced 2015 examinations are conducted only after the declaration of the JEE Mains 2015 examinations.

All Candidates should note that only those who have qualified in the top 150,000 are eligible to appear for the JEE Advance 2015 examinations subject to the stipulated terms and conditions of the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation, laid down by the Authority.

JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation:

The JEE Advanced 2015 examinations are one of the toughest engineering entrance examinations, which are conducted across India. Every year there are several lakhs of students who appear for the JEE Advanced 2015 entrance examination, competing fiercely for the limited number of seats offered by the IITs.

Most of the candidates intending to appear for the upcoming JEE Advanced 2015 examination are always interested and curious to know about the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation and the eligibility criteria for fitting into the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation.

The following given below are the stipulated terms and conditions with respect to the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation:

  • All the Candidates who belong to the Schedule Castes (SC) will have 15% of the seats reserved for them in each and every Engineering Course & program offered by the participating institutes.
  • All the Candidates who belong to the Schedule Tribe (ST) will have will have 7.5% of the seats reserved for them in each and every Engineering Course & program offered by the participating institutes.
  • All Candidates who belong to the “Non Creamy Layer” of the “Other Backward Class” will have 27% of the seats reserved for them in each and every Engineering Course & program offered by the participating institutes.
  • Candidates who belong to the “Creamy Layer” of the “Other Backward Class” will however not be entitled to any kind of JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation and will be treated as the “General Category” Candidates.
  • All Candidates who belong to the “Persons with Disability” (PWD) will have 3% of the seats reserved for them in each and every Category (Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Caste).
  • All candidates who are suffering from impairment of limbs and hands upto 40% irrespective of the type of disability will have also be entitled to the above mentioned benefits. Also all those candidates who are “Leprosy Cured” will be entitled to the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation Benefits.
  • All the candidates who belong to the “Foreign Nationals” category will be included in the “General Category” and will not be included in any above Reservation Criteria as per the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation Rules.
  • All the remaining seats apart from the above mentioned JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation will be allotted and kept reserved for the General Category Candidates. The JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation rules are horizontal and thus the balance unreserved seats will be allotted to the General Category Candidates as per the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation Rules.
  • All the Candidates are required to note that once a category chosen by the candidate will not be the same for the entire JEE Advanced 2015 Admission process and will not be allowed to change under any circumstances as per the JEE Advanced 2015 Seat Reservation Rules.
