IBSAT 2014


IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the Federation of Universities, for admission into the management programs. IBSAT has become computer-based test from the academic session 2013-15.


  • 2-year MBA Program
  • Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM)


  • Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
  • Final year students awaiting results can also apply.

Paper Pattern

IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs). IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.


The syllabus for IBSAT 2014 is as below:

  • Verbal
  • Quantitive Aptitude
  • Logical and Data interpretation
  • English Essay

Selection Process

Applicants who have qualified based on IBSAT 2014/ GMAT/ CAT score are called for the selection process at IBS Hyderabad in February 2015. The selection process comprises of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

How to Apply

Interested Applicants can get the IBSAT Bulletin by paying Rs.1500/- through one of the following methods that is through online application or from marketing office.

  • Online Application

Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at website. On payment of requisite amount, a confirmation email will be sent to the email id provided by the Applicant and will receive hard copy of the IBSAT bulletin within one week.

  • Marketing Offices

Applicants can also get the IBSAT bulletin from the IBS marketing offices. They can locate the nearest branch available at website and purchase the bulletin by paying the requisite application fee in cash.

IBSAT Important Dates

  • Last Date to Apply: 1 December, 2014
  • IBSAT Exam Date: 10 December to 31 December, 2014
  • Results: 19 January, 2015
