IBPS PO 2016 Online Application Procedure
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection popularly known as IBPS is an intricate organization providing services to its clients in the area of personnel selection, recruitment as well as assessment etc. It has been successfully carrying out the task of employment testing, selection, assessment & management of human resources through out India.
IBPS conducts online examination for a large number of candidates in more than 200 cities across India concurrently. Every year Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) invites applications for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in Public Sector Banks 2016-17. In our past article we had already discussed regarding the IBPS PO 2016 Online Registration begins today
Let us proceed further in our discussion with IBPS PO 2016 Online Application Procedure where by we shall discuss about the Application Procedure for IBPS PO 2016 examination, application fees, mode of payment etc..
IBPS PO 2016 Online Application Procedure
Candidates can apply online only from 26th July to 13th August 2016. Apart from that no other mode of application can be accepted.
Pre-requisites for the candidates in order to apply online are :
1. Scan the photograph & signature ensuring both meet the required specifications as mentioned in ANNEXURE II.
2. Candidates desiring to make online payment of application fees shall keep the necessary details/documents ready.(In case of offline payment, candidates have to apply online, have to obtain a fee payment challan & then remit the required application fees.)
3. Candidate must possess a personal email ID which should remain active till the completion of this Common Recruitment process. IBPS shall send the call letter & other related intimation through the registered email ID. In case the candidate does not have a valid email ID then he/she must create one before applying for the exam online & must maintain that ID .
APPLICATION FEES/INTIMATION CHARGES:
- Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates
- Rs.600/- for Others (General)
PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING ONLINE:
1. Candidates are required to visit the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in & click on the homepage to open the link “CWE PO/MT” & thereby click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE PO/MT”
2.Candidates shall then click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by filling up the basic details in the online application form. After which a provisional number & password will be generated by the system which shall be displayed on the screen. Candidates are expected to note down the provisional registration number & password . An Email & SMS indicating the provisional registration number & password shall also be sent. Candidate can reopen the saved data using the provisional registration number & password & edit if needed.
3. Candidates are required to upload their photograph & signature according to the specifications given in the guidelines for scanning & upload of photograph & signature.(ANNEXURE II)
4.Candidates are requested to carefully fill in the online as no change in any of the data filled in online application shall be entertained later on. Before submission of the online application candidates are advised to make use of the “SAVE AND NEXT ” facility to verify the details in the application form & edit the same if required .
MODE OF PAYMENT for IBPS:
Candidates are provided with the option of making payment of requisite fee either through ONLINE mode or OFFLINE mode.
1.) PAYMENT OF FEES OR INTIMATION CHARGES VIA ONLINE MODE:
I. Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the online application & click on the “FINAL SUBMIT” button at the end of the online application form. Before pressing the “FINAL SUBMIT” button,candidates are advised to verify each detail in the application. In case the candidate is unable to fill the application form in one go he/she can save the data already entered.
II. Once the application form is filled in completely, candidate should submit the data.
III. Application form is integrated through the payment gateway & the payment process shall be completed by following the instructions.
IV. The payment can be made by using only MASTER/Visa debit or Credit Cards or Internet banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
V.After final submit , an additional page of application form is displayed whereby candidates may follow the instructions & fill in the requisite details.
VI. If the online transaction has not been successfully completed , then the candidates are advised to log in again with their provisional registration number & password & pay the application fees.
VII. On successful completion of the transaction an e-receipt will be generated.
VIII. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt & online application form . Please note that if the same cannot be generated online transaction is assumed to be unsuccessful.
2.) Payment of fees/intimation charges via OFFLINE mode (at specified branches of bank)
Payment of fees/intimation charges via OFFLINE mode can be made in any of the following public sector banks:
Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank , United Bank of India.
I. Candidates should fill in the details in the online application at the appropriate places & click on the “FINAL SUBMIT” button at the end of the online application form. Before pressing the “FINAL SUBMIT” button candidates are advised to verify each detail in the application.
II. In case the candidate is unable to fill the application form in one go he/she can save the data already entered. They can reopen the saved data using provisional number & password & modify the particulars if needed. Once the application is filled in completely the candidate should final submit the data. Candidates are required to take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan immediately . No change will be allowed after final submission.
III. Fee/intimation charges shall be accepted at the CBS branches of banks listed above from second working day of registration & can be made within three working days. System generated fee payment challan will be used for depositing fee/intimation charges. Once the fee/intimation charges are paid, the registration process is completed.
IV. The candidate will receive registration confirmation by sms/e-mail after two working days from the date of payment of fee/intimation charges.
