Like any other stream, students from Commerce stream have ample options for appearing for number of entrance exams right after they complete their higher secondary education i.e. Class XII. As such there are a number of exams for students to choose from. We present before you some prominent exams for the commerce students to think over & go ahead with them.

Integrated Company Secretaryship Course

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducts the Integrated Company Secretaryship Course for every academic session. Students who have pursued their 10+2 are eligible to appear for this course. Candidates need to clear three stages of the examination to successfully reach the last stage.

The three stages can be described as the Foundation Programme, the Executive Programme and the Professional Programme. For all those students who wish to pursue this course right after their Graduation need to clear only two stages namely Executive Programme & Professional Programme.

Chartered Accountancy

The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) which shall test whether a candidate can become a Chartered Accountant or not. Same as ICSI, ICAI also conducts three levels of examinations. They are mainly Common Proficiency Test (CPT), IPCC being the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) course and the last stage of course with three years of practical training (articleship) under any Practicing Chartered Accountant.

Actuarial Sciences

The Institute of Actuaries of India is considered as the professional body of actuaries in India. Candidates who are eligible to apply for this course are Class XII passed, Graduates, Post Graduates, Engineer, CA, ICWA etc having a sound knowledge in Mathematics as well as Statistics. The admission for this course is based on the marks scored in the entrance exam held by various institutions. The entrance exams conducted for Actuarial courses are Actuarial science entrance exam, Institute of Actuaries of India entrance exam and Actuarial society of India.

Integrated MBA

In India many Universities offer Integrated MBA Courses. If a candidate gains some working experience, before enrolling for admissions it can be well & good. Getting into a reputed B-School with some excellent placement facilities comes handy. Integrated MBA not only enhances the business skills but at the same time expertise in the desired field.
