The Central Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. CBSE board exams are in progress. Class 12th Board exams 2014 commenced from 1st March 2014 and will last till April 17, 2014.

Once the exams are over, students will be eagerly waiting for their board results. Students can download their CBSE 12th board results from the official website of CBSE.

The exam result of Boards Class 12th 2014, is expected to be declared in the third week of May. In 2013, a total of 21.76 lakh student had appeared for the Board exams whereas, this year a total of 22.65 lakh students have registered themselves for the CBSE Board exams.

CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India. This year 800 new schools registered themselves with CBSE and thus the number of CBSE affiliated school has now rose to 14,700.

CBSE board is divided into several regions. Last year Chennai reason outperformed all other regions in pass percentage. Chennai put up the best performance of 91.83.  The total pass percentage last year was 82.10 percent Girls continued to fare better than boys with 87.98 per cent clearing the exam as compared to 77.78 per cent boys.

Class 12th candidates rose by 20,000 in strength from the previous year amounting to a total of 9.40 lakh students for the final 12th Board exams. The reason in the adding up of the number of students is the increase in the number of schools being affiliated to CBSE.

  • CBSE 12th class board results for Ajmer: Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli
  • CBSE 12th class board results for Panchkula: Haryana, Union Territory of Chandigarh, Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh
  • CBSE 12th class board results for Allahabad: Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand

  2. Now click on to the new notification CBSE 12th class result 2014
  3. Enter your Roll Number (can see from Admit card) or Enter your school Name
  4. Your result will be displayed in front of you in computer screen.
  5. Save it for future reference Can also download the pdf file

One more thing that you need to notice is that there may be discrepancies in the online result. So do not panic if you think there is something wrong with your result.
