BHU UET LL.B 2015

Banaras Hindu University, founded in 1916 by Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya. This is one of the largest universities in India and is a public central university situated in Varanasi.

Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test for LL.B (BHU UET LL.B) is carried out by Banaras Hindu University for granting admission to three years LL.B program of the Faculty of Law.

BHU UET LL.B Eligibility

The applicants must have passed any bachelor’s degree (B.A, B.Com, B.Sc.) under 10+2+3 study pattern with minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university.

The applicants appearing for final year exam of the qualifying degree can also apply for the test.

Note: Applicants must present the original mark sheet of qualifying exam at the time of admission

Age Limit: The applicant should not be more then 30 years of age as on 01.07.2015. (5 years age relaxation for ST/ SC category applicants and 3 years for OBC applicants)

BHU UET LL.B Exam Pattern

BHU UET LL.B consists of 150 objective types multiple choice questions (MCQs). The time duration of the exam is two hours (120 minutes) and the exam will be of 450 marks. The Language section will have two sets one in English and the other in Hindi.

The BHU UET LL.B exam comprises of questions from following subjects and fields:

  • General Awareness and Current Affairs
  • Common Legal Knowledge
  • Aptitude and Mental Ability
  • Language Comprehension

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply online or can get the application form from the university office or any other authorized office of Banaras Hindu University by paying the application fees of Rs. 50/-.

The examination fee is to be paid through challan at any State Bank of India (SBI) Branch.

BHU UET LL.B Examination Fees

The examination fee for BHU UET LL.B is:

  • For General category applicants: Rs. 700/-
  • For ST/ SC category applicants: Rs. 500/-

BHU UET LL.B Exam Centers

The BHU UET LL.B examination centers are as follows: Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.

Important Dates

The BHU UET LL.B exam is usually held in the month of May.
