The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) is the state level authority for conducting examinations and providing assurance for the quality of education imparted in schools that are affiliated within the state of Assam.
The Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961 was passed to provide for the establishment of a Board of Secondary Education to regulate, supervise and develop Secondary Education in the State of Assam. The Act came into force from 29 January 1962 with the publication of Government of Assam.
About 4 lakh students appeared for SSC Board examinations in year 2014. The Board Examinations for Class 10th was held from 13th of February 2014 and ended at 06th of March 2014. The results were out on 30th of May 2014 with good number of students passing the examination. Girls performing far better than the boys across the state.
The Assam State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education SSC examination which will be starting from 19th February 2015 and will end by 12th of March 2015. The Assam State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education SSC examination results are tentatively going to be declared in the month of May 2015. The results will be available on the official website of Assam State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education – www.ahsec.nic.in/.
