AP LAWCET 2016  Important Dates

AP LAWCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test ( AP LAWCET)  AP LAW Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET-2016) will be conducted by the convener, LAWCET-2016 Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into 3 Year / 5 Year LLB within the colleges of Law in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2016-17

Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET-2016) for entry into those seats of 1st year of Five Year / Three year LL.B Degree Courses for which the Govt. is competentThe Law common Entrance Test-2016 & its Admissions will be made in strict compliance of the Rules and Regulations of the University Concerned.

Courses offered through AP LAWCET 2016 are LLB 3 year Degree Course; LLB; LLB (Hon); LLB (B.A LLB) 5 year Degree Course; BA LLB; BA LLB (Honors); BBA LLB; B.Com LLB.

AP LAWCET 2016 Important Dates

  • Submission & Registration of Online Application Form: 29th February 2016
  • Last Date for Submission & Registration of Online Application Form without Late Fee: 30th April 2016
  • Last Date for Submission & Registration of Online Application Form with Late Fee of Rs.500/-: 01st May to 07th May 2016
  • Last Date for Submission & Registration of Online Application Form with Late Fee of Rs.1000/-: 08th May to 15th May 2016
  • Last Date for Submission & Registration of Online Application Form with Late Fee of Rs.1500/-: 16th May to 21st May 2016
  • With Late Fee of Rs.5000/-Candidates have to write the entrance Test in Anantapuramu only: 22nd May to 27th May 2016
  • Date of AP LAWCET-2016 3yrs & 5 yrs Exam (10.00 am to 11.30 am): 28th May 2016 (Saturday)

Having mentioned about AP LAWCET 2016 Important Dates, let us now discuss about the AP LAWCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria.

AP LAWCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/unreserved status requirement.
  • The Candidates for 3 year LLB should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks. If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation he should have passed any additional graduation or post graduation with 45%
  • The Candidates for 5 year LLB should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks.
  • There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year/5 year Law course infavour of the Candidates belonging to SC/ST
  • The maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 3 year and 5 year LL.B course shall be 30 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST) and 20 years (relaxable by 2 years in case of SC/ST) respectively as on 31st Dec 2016
