Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an entrance exam conducted at national level by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)in order to facilitate institutions & colleges to select eligible students for admissions in management stream approved by AICTE.
CMAT is conducted twice in the month of September & February for admission procedure for the upcoming academic session.The better of the two scores is considered for admission procedure. AICTE is about to held CMAT 2014-15.
AICTE is all set to conduct the first test of CMAT 2014. The September 2014 test shall be the first test of CMAT for admission to various management institutes across the country for the academic session 2015-2016. All the eligible students intending to appear for CMAT September 2014, it is likely to bring in to their notice that the Admit Card for the month’s exam shall be available from tomorrow that is, 12th September 2014 onwards.
The CMAT exam shall be a computer-based test which shall begin from 25-9-2014 to 29-9-2014. The result for the same shall be declared on 30th October 2014. Admit Cards shall be available for downloading on the official website of AICTE CMAT.
Every year lakhs of aspirants appear for CMAT Examination seeking admission in AICTE approved management institutes.
CMAT is a computer based online test where in candidates are required to answer 100 multiple choice questions of 4 marks each. The question paper is divided into four sections namely- Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension & lastly General Awareness with each section consisting of 25 questions.
Candidates are provided with a time duration of 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours. Negative marking is present, with every wrong question, one mark shall be deducted.
